It's having speakers mounted in the walls or ceiling of a room, but the source (CD player, radio, tape player etc.), of music is located in some other room. Control of the music is usually in the form of a wall plate mounted controller, (similar to a light switch), in the room with the speakers. Welcome to the exciting world of whole home music and TV. Classical in the bedroom, rock in the den and salsa in the kitchen. A multiroom system for everyone that delivers music to match your mood and a cost to fit your wallet. We have four, six or eight room systems (zones) that offer keypad and remote control. The music can be controlled by pointing a remote at any of the keypads that are mounted in the listening rooms. The top of the line units show the artist and title playing on its display. New construction can be prewired and all the home-owner has to do is plug one cable into the wall in order to connect up the equipment to all eight speakers of the four zone system. |
